Since high school, Andreas and Olaf are best buddies. Somewhat of an odd-couple. Andreas is introvert. Olaf outspoken. Andreas is a family man. Olaf a Don Juan. Olaf is addicted to adventure and change. Andreas is a master of procrastination. Now, twenty years later, they’re married to wonderful women. Andreas’s wife Manuela is devoted to her family. Olaf’s wife Doreen could’ve been a beauty queen, but resents any kind of, as she puts it, superficial prostitution. For Andreas and Olaf, life couldn’t be better. With one exception: Their spousal sexuality is lacking the passion and satisfaction that once enlightened their relationships. Then, one evening, Olaf suggests swapping partners for only one night. At first everyone puts off the idea. Andreas rejects sharing his beloved wife with anyone else. Let alone his best friend. Unfortunately, Doreen and Manuela are increasingly intrigued by Olaf’s proposal. Manuela’s motivation: She wants to help her marriage and manages to convince Andreas to give it a shot. And Doreen? She wants to take revenge, eventually falling in love with Andreas. And so fate takes its toll in a most pain- and truthful, but foremost comic way.
