The successful interior designer, Sarah, feels guilty for her sister’s death because she did not react quickly enough to her call for help. In order to ease her conscience, she takes care of her sister’s three sisters, who live on a farm with their father, Max. Here the old love between Sarah and Max heats up again. Because Sarah cannot find the courage to tell Max about her hesitation to answer her sister’s call, her conscience plagues her more and more. To make matters worse, her boyfriend refuses to let her go, and threatens to tell Max the truth.
