Young, good-looking veterinarian Eric Gustavson, who grew up in an orphanage, has a special gift with horses, especially with traumatized thoroughbreds. With great empathy, he is quickly able to win the animals’ trust, making them once again tame and tractable. Jane Hamilton, owner of the ”Sunrise“ Stud Farm, asks Eric for his help with horse Scarlett. For some inexplicable reason, the always gentle Scarlett has begun acting very aggressively towards people. As Eric tries to approach her, she panics hysterically, deliberately attacking him. Eric is seriously hurt. In the hospital, he is under the care of the young and lovely physician, Elaine Mercury. The feelings ignited between them go far beyond any doctor-patient relationship. Also Jane making no secret of her feminine charms. Eric is torn between the two women.
